Toyota Motor North America and Toyota Financial Services have announced initiatives to support those affected by recent storms in the Southeastern and Eastern United States. The company contributes annually to The American Red Cross and SBP, with funds directed towards recovery efforts when disasters occur nationwide. To further aid affected communities, Toyota is matching contributions from U.S.-based employees to The American Red Cross, SBP, and other eligible nonprofits.

Toyota Financial Services has also introduced payment relief options for customers impacted by the storms. This includes any customer of Toyota Financial Services (TFS) or Lexus Financial Services (LFS) within designated disaster areas.

Eligible lease and finance customers in these regions may access several payment relief options such as extensions, deferred payments on leases, redirected billing statements, and arrangements for phone or online payments. Customers seeking to discuss their account options are encouraged to contact TFS or LFS through provided phone numbers or email via their respective websites.

"We extend our heartfelt thoughts to those affected by the storms," stated a spokesperson from Toyota.

Toyota has been part of North America's cultural landscape for nearly 70 years, committed to advancing sustainable mobility through its Toyota and Lexus brands along with over 1,800 dealerships. Employing nearly 64,000 people in North America, Toyota has produced close to 49 million vehicles at its 14 manufacturing plants. In spring 2025, a new plant in North Carolina will begin producing automotive batteries for electrified vehicles. Currently offering 31 electrified vehicle options, Toyota leads with more electrified vehicles on the road than any other automaker.
