License sales at the Division of Marine Fisheries Manteo Office will be unavailable on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, March 4-5. The office is scheduled to reopen on Thursday, March 6.
During the closure, individuals needing to conduct license-related business can visit alternative locations. These include the Department of Environmental Quality Washington Regional Office located at 943 Washington Square Mall, Highway 17 in Washington, NC (phone: 252-948-3800), the Division of Marine Fisheries Headquarters at 3441 Arendell Street in Morehead City, NC (phone: 252-515-5500), or the Department of Environmental Quality Wilmington Regional Office at 127 Cardinal Drive Extension in Wilmington, NC (phone: 910-796-7215).
Additionally, Coastal Recreational Fishing Licenses are available for purchase at various sporting goods and bait and tackle shops. They can also be obtained online at www.ncwildlife.org or by phone during business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling 888-248-6834.
