Merz Aesthetics has announced the continuation of its partnership with the North Carolina Courage, marking the fourth consecutive year of collaboration. The NC Courage is a National Women’s Soccer League team located in Cary, North Carolina.

Patrick Urban, President of Merz Aesthetics North America, expressed his enthusiasm for the ongoing partnership. "We are proud to continue our partnership with the NC Courage, an organization aligned in our shared values of the importance of confidence and empowerment of women," he stated. He emphasized Merz Aesthetics' commitment to community development and supporting women's programs.

The company will again sponsor the 'Woman of the Match' award during each home game this season. This award highlights women who have made significant contributions to their community in Raleigh or the broader North Carolina Triangle area. The initiative aims to celebrate those who help build confidence locally. The first honoree for this season will be recognized at the NC Courage home opener on March 22, 2025.

Francie Gottsegen, President of NC Courage, highlighted the value of this collaboration: “Merz Aesthetics has been an incredible partner for several years, and we are excited to see this collaboration continue in 2025." She noted that both organizations share a commitment to empowering women in sports and that this bond has strengthened over time.

In addition to sponsoring awards, Merz Aesthetics will feature its corporate partner Dress for Success Triangle at the NC Courage home opener. Dress for Success Triangle will host their mobile 'Confidence Boutique,' collecting new and gently used professional handbags. This effort supports their mission to empower Raleigh women by providing professional attire and development tools necessary for economic independence. Participants donating handbags will have a chance to win a signed NC Courage jersey.

The NC Courage was established in 2017 when Steve Malik purchased and relocated the Western New York Flash franchise to Cary, North Carolina. The team competes at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park and has achieved notable success within the league.
