The North Carolina Courage has announced the loan of midfielder Victoria Pickett to AFC Toronto in the Northern Super League. The agreement, which includes a fee, will commence on February 1, 2025, and continue until December 31, 2025.

Victoria Pickett joined the Courage in 2023 after being traded from Gotham FC. During her tenure with the Courage, she played in 29 regular-season games over two seasons, contributing one goal and one assist in a total of 836 minutes. Additionally, she participated in eight cup competitions. Her efforts helped the team secure victory in the 2023 NWSL Challenge Cup and reach the semifinals of the 2024 NWSLxLiga MX Femenil Summer Cup.

Pickett began her professional career when she was drafted as the 15th overall pick by Kansas City Current in 2021 after an impressive collegiate career at the University of Wisconsin. At Wisconsin, she earned first-team All-Big Ten honors twice in consecutive years—2017 and 2018. She played parts of two seasons with Kansas City before being traded to Gotham FC in August of 2022.

With this loan move finalized, North Carolina Courage currently has a roster comprising 33 players for their preseason camp. Out of these players, there are currently 27 under contract and 26 active.
