North Carolina Courage defender Kaleigh Kurtz has been selected for the NWSL Best XI for October and November, as announced by the league office. This recognition marks her first monthly honor in 2024 and she becomes the fourth player from the Courage to receive this distinction during the current season. Her teammate, Malia Berkely, was previously named to the Best XI in March/April and September, while Ashley Sanchez and Meredith Speck received honors in July.

Kurtz's performance during the four matches within the award period included winning two tackles and 15 duels, making five interceptions and 24 clearances, and completing 87.9% of her passes without committing any fouls.

In addition to this accolade, Kurtz recently completed her third consecutive Iron Woman season, maintaining her record for consecutive regular season minutes in the NWSL.

The North Carolina Courage are set to face Kansas City Current in the quarterfinals of the NWSL playoffs on Saturday at noon ET. The match will be available on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.
