Town of Holly Springs issued the following announcement on Oct. 29.
Avent Ferry widening work will Friday night at the signalized intersection near the Goodwill store. Overnight work will begin at 7 p.m. and end by 5 the following morning.
Traffic will still be able to travel Avent Ferry Road, although some turns in and out of the plaza at the Goodwill store will be restricted. Village Walk Drive will not be affected.
The widening project remains on target for completion during the latter half of November.
