State Water Infrastructure Authority to hold meetings in Edenton and online in April

The State Water Infrastructure Authority is set to convene in Edenton on April 16 and 17. The public sessions will be conducted in person at the Edenton Municipal Building, with the option to join online or via phone through Webex. The meetings on April 16 will span from 2 to 4:35 p.m., whereas the April 17th session runs from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Authority distributes federal and state funds for water and wastewater projects. Additionally, it crafts the state water infrastructure master plan, suggests methods to optimize loan and grant resources, and identifies best practices in infrastructure.
