North Carolina Environmental Management Commission plans March meetings

The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission is scheduled to convene on March 12-13 in Raleigh. The meetings will take place in the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building, and both in-person and virtual attendance options are available for the public.

On March 12, committee meetings will begin at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. The full commission meeting is set for March 13 at the same time. Agendas and supporting documents will be accessible on the Commission's website.

The Environmental Management Commission plays a crucial role in formulating rules aimed at safeguarding the state's air and water resources. It also supervises various divisions within the Department of Environmental Quality, such as Air Quality, Land Resources, Waste Management, and Water Resources.
