Lenovo has unveiled its latest infrastructure solutions designed to modernize data centers, powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors. The new ThinkSystem V4 servers aim to deliver scalable, AI-ready infrastructure suitable for various organizational needs. These solutions promise enhanced performance, AI-enhanced management capabilities, and improved energy efficiency.

According to Lenovo, the new servers can achieve up to 6.1 times higher compute performance compared to previous generation CPUs and double the memory bandwidth using MRDIMM technology. "Lenovo is reimagining what’s possible in the data center by delivering intelligent and versatile infrastructure solutions that simplify and accelerate IT modernization," said Scott Tease, Vice President of Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group, Products.

The ThinkSystem V4 servers are equipped with Neptune liquid-cooling technology to boost thermal efficiency by 3.5 times, thereby reducing power consumption while increasing processing power. This innovation allows for a consolidation ratio of up to 3:1 compared to older infrastructure, making room for new AI projects.

The server lineup includes the SR630 V4, SR650 V4, and SR650a V4 models. Each model offers distinct features catering to different needs ranging from cloud service providers to organizations focusing on AI innovation. The SR630 V4 is noted for its high-density design optimized for compact environments; the SR650 V4 offers maximum versatility with enhanced GPU capacity; and the SR650a V4 supports GPU-intensive workloads like machine learning and media analytics.

Lenovo's XClarity One system management platform provides integrated remote access and management capabilities across these systems. It also features AI-powered analytics for predictive failure analysis of server components, aiming to minimize downtime.

Lenovo continues its commitment to pushing innovation boundaries with flexible AI solutions aimed at empowering organizations across diverse computing environments.
