Town of Fuquay-Varina issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
Fuquay-Varina town government offices will be closed on December 23, 26, and 27 for the Christmas holiday.
Garbage collection will be unaffected; place carts as usual. Bulky trash and yard debris will be picked up on Wednesday, December 28.
The deadlines for requesting pickup will remain the same - Friday at 5 p.m. for bulky items and Monday at 5 p.m. for yard debris.
Emergency services will run on a normal schedule.
