Lenovo and Toyota Boshoku collaborate to innovate in future vehicle interior design

Lenovo has announced a strategic partnership with Toyota Boshoku to develop advanced intelligent interior spaces for future vehicles. The collaboration aims to enhance the in-car experience using cutting-edge technology to improve comfort, convenience, and personalization.

Toyota Boshoku, known for its expertise in designing user-centric automotive interiors, focuses on driver and passenger well-being. Partnering with Lenovo Vehicle Computing, the companies will work together on sophisticated intelligent cockpit solutions to meet consumer needs and expectations.

Central to their partnership is Lenovo’s smart cabin UX/UI solutions, including advanced Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) systems. These systems are designed for seamless content sharing and connectivity across devices. Passengers will benefit from effortless transitions between devices and applications, enhancing entertainment, productivity, and relaxation within the vehicle.

Richard Chung, CIO and Executive Chief of Toyota Boshoku, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “I’m delighted to partner with Lenovo on creating a ‘third life space’ for future mobility." He added that the collaboration advances their mission of transforming the vehicle space experience by leveraging advanced technologies.
