The State Farmers Market in Raleigh announced the return of Logan’s Garden Shop, a staple in North Carolina’s gardening community since 1965, to its original location. The grand opening event is scheduled for Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29. The relocation signifies a return to the shop's roots, emphasizing its commitment to local agriculture and sustainable practices.

Logan’s began serving Raleigh at the State Farmers Market on Hodges Street before moving to Seaboard Station in 1991. After over thirty years in downtown Raleigh, the shop is returning to its initial location, where it will continue to offer plants, gardening supplies, and expert advice to the Triangle region.

“Logan’s Garden Shop has been a valued part of North Carolina’s agricultural community for decades, supporting home gardeners, landscapers and local farmers alike,” said Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler. “Their return to the State Farmers Market is a welcome addition, strengthening the connection between consumers and North Carolina’s $8.6 billion green industry. We celebrate their commitment to sustainability, local sourcing and agricultural education, and we look forward to seeing them continue to grow and serve our state.”

At 1208 Farmers Market Drive, in the former Market Imports space, Logan’s will offer an expanded selection of regionally adapted plants, seeds, and soil amendments, as well as pollinator-friendly plant varieties. There will also be eco-friendly gardening solutions available and opportunities for interactions with North Carolina farmers through locally grown nursery stock and garden collaborations.

The grand opening event invites customers to explore the new location and enjoy promotions, including exclusive discounts, door prizes, and expert gardening advice.

Logan’s encourages the community to join in the weekend festivities, which feature special discounts on various items and over 50 door prizes. For event updates, visit logantrd.com or follow Logan’s Garden Shop on Facebook and Instagram.

The State Farmers Market operates year-round, offering a variety of local products. Located off Exit 297 on Interstate 40, it is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on market events and seasonal offerings, visit their website or social media pages.
