Apple Arcade expands catalog with six new games launching this April

Apple Arcade is set to expand its offerings with the launch of six new games and updates over the next month. The platform, which already boasts a catalog of over 200 games, will see the addition of Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE on April 3. This marks the first original game in the Katamari franchise in nearly eight years and will be available exclusively on Apple Arcade. Players will roll their Katamari as directed by the King of All Cosmos, maintaining the series' well-known gameplay style.

Bandai Namco Entertainment's new title joins other popular games from the company on Apple Arcade, such as Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap Beat and PAC-MAN Party Royale. On the same day, Space Invaders Infinity Gene Evolve by TAITO CORPORATION will also debut on Apple Arcade. This latest entry in the classic series offers players a mix of traditional and modern shoot-'em-up modes.

Additionally, puffies., a puzzle game from Lykke Studios; RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic+ by Atari; The Game of Life 2+ by Marmalade Game Studio; and Sesame Street Mecha Builders+ by StoryToys are all set to join Apple Arcade's lineup. These games offer various experiences ranging from building amusement parks to engaging in STEM adventures with beloved Sesame Street characters.

The platform is also rolling out updates for existing favorites like NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition, PGA TOUR Pro Golf, and Skate City: New York. These updates include new features such as adding Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to NBA 2K25's Greatest mode and introducing new levels in Skate City: New York.

Apple Arcade is available for $6.99 per month with a one-month free trial. Customers purchasing a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV can enjoy three months free. It is also part of Apple's subscription bundle plans under Apple One.
