Town of Apex issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.
Have you heard? The ability to report power outages by text message is launching today (Oct 10th) around 10 am!
What does this mean?
All Apex electric utility customers with a text-enabled phone number on their utility account will receive a text message from (919) 372-7475 letting them know they are now enrolled in the texting service.
Now what?
After customers receive the welcome text, they'll be able to text "OUT" anytime to (919) 372-7475 to report a power outage
