Town of Holly Springs issued the following announcement on Jul. 16.
Garbage and recycling collection will change Aug. 2 for about half of Holly Springs customers as routes are being rebalanced to increase efficiency and save customers money.
The Town’s service provider, GFL Environmental, will notify by mail those whose garbage and recycling collection day is changing. Yard waste collection will remain the same for everyone.
The changes have enabled the Town to lower the garbage and recycling fee by 48 cents per month. The Town has been adding approximately 600 customers a year and now has more than 13,200. Customers who find they have more garbage or recyclables than a cart will hold can purchase an additional cart.Original source can be found here.
