Town of Garner issued the following announcement on Mar. 27.
Public Works will complete the week of March 23 routes that were scheduled to get spring unprepared trash and yard waste collection but postpone the next two weeks of unprepared trash and yard waste pickup (the weeks of March 30 and April 6) until at least April 20. Once crews resume their work, they will try to complete those remaining unprepared trash and yard waste routes as quickly as possible. You can keep items at the curb if you wish. REGULAR WEEKLY SOLID WASTE PICKUP IS ON AS SCHEDULED.
