Garbage & Recycling Collection issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.
Are you looking to get ahead at Wake Tech this spring?
New and current students don’t need to wait for summer or fall to move forward on their academic and career goals. Wake Tech offers approximately 100 courses in the classroom and online that students can begin in February and March.
Students can choose 12-week or eight-week mini-mester class options in a variety of subjects including accounting, business, and marketing, criminal justice, sociology and the humanities. There are also numerous developmental courses in math and reading/writing to prepare students for college-level work. For a list of these classes, visit springahead.waketech.edu.
“Time is of the essence when you’re working toward a degree,” says Chief Academic Officer Sandy Dietrich. “At Wake Tech, we’re ramping up our course offerings so students can get ahead this spring. These courses allow students to add a course or two to their schedule in order to reach their goals more quickly.”
Students looking to add a class should contact their advisor or email advising@waketech.edu. New students can get started by completing NC Residency Determination and completing the Wake Tech application at apply.waketech.edu.
Some of the classes begin February 5; others begin March 5. All finish on May 8, the scheduled end of spring semester.
