Watson Links announced on Mar. 27 a new partnership with Bank of America as part of the Golf with Us initiative, which aims to make golf more accessible and strengthen communities through sport.

The collaboration is intended to introduce more young people to golf by offering affordable opportunities, instructional clinics, ongoing development, and local partnerships. In 2026, Watson Links will contribute mentor-led experiences within the Golf with Us program that focus on building confidence, knowledge of the game, and life-readiness skills for junior players alongside vetted adult mentors.

Bank of America becomes Watson Links’ Champion Partner through this agreement. The bank will provide support to help expand mentoring opportunities in golf, fund new on-course experiences, and increase access for kids and teens nationwide across all skill levels.

Watson Links was founded in 2021 by eight-time major champion Tom Watson. The organization pairs junior golfers aged 10–18 with adult mentors for nine-hole rounds that aim to teach etiquette and develop social as well as life-readiness skills. These free sessions are designed to address barriers such as course access, cost, and lack of guidance while creating connections between generations.

“One of the best ways to learn something new—or master a skill—is with the help of a mentor,” said Tom Watson. “Our partnership with Bank of America through Golf with Us will help give junior golfers more access and on-course opportunities. Playing alongside mentors will help develop life skills like confidence and resilience and a love of the game while fostering meaningful connections that benefit both juniors and adults.”
