The University of North Carolina Board of Governors Subcommittee on the 2026 O. Max Gardner Award is scheduled to hold a special meeting at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026. The agenda for this meeting includes discussions about nominations for the award.

The meeting will take place virtually, with portions streamed online to provide live audio and video access to the public. The virtual session will originate from 223 S. West Street in Raleigh.

In case there are technical issues with the video stream, the video may be disabled for both members and the public, and the meeting would continue in an audio-only format. Some topics might be addressed in closed session according to provisions outlined by the Open Meetings Law.
