Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) has introduced a new Toyota Hydrogen Solutions webpage. Announced at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo in Anaheim, the site serves as a business hub for those interested in Toyota’s hydrogen-focused products and services. It aims to provide detailed product information, case studies, and contact details to help businesses find solutions for emission reductions using Toyota’s hydrogen-powered technologies.

The Advanced Clean Transportation Expo showcased Toyota’s commitment to using fuel cell technology to generate cleaner electricity. Toyota’s fuel cells, already in use across its supply chain, are now available for North American customers aiming for reduced emissions.

Fuel cells are versatile, capable of stationary power generation and powering Class 8 semi-truck powertrains, among other uses. “While Toyota continues to offer its hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric technology in vehicle powertrains, we are more than a powertrain supplier,” stated Jay Sackett, TMNA R&D’s chief engineer of Advanced Mobility. “We aim to provide a host of efficient solutions that help get work done. This new website is a clear indication that we are open for business and eager to offer technologies to benefit our customers.”

The technology behind Toyota’s fuel cells includes products extending from the 2025 Toyota Miral FCEV sedan to backup power generators and various heavy machinery. Hydrogen fuel cells combine hydrogen and oxygen to produce electricity, emitting only water vapor.

“Toyota Hydrogen Solutions is here to offer society a proven technology and a pathway to a potentially cleaner fuel source,” commented Thibaut de Barros Conti, TMNA’s general manager of Fuel Cell Solutions. Development of these technologies by Toyota has been underway in the U.S. for over three decades, beginning with the 2015 release of the Toyota Mirai sedan.

Toyota’s global sales of commercial fuel cell units have reached over 2,700, catering to more than 100 customers, with plans to assemble fuel cell module kits in Kentucky.
