Toyota has announced the introduction of its new all-electric SUV, the 2026 bZ Woodland. The vehicle is set to join Toyota’s lineup of Battery-Electric Vehicles (BEV), which includes the refreshed bZ small SUV and the all-new C-HR compact crossover. The bZ Woodland features standard All-Wheel Drive with X-MODE and a combined system net output of 375 horsepower, offering a manufacturer-estimated electric driving range of up to 260 miles.

Dave Christ, president of Toyota Group, commented on the new model: “With zero emissions and a powerful drive, the bZ Woodland is bringing outdoor-inspired style to our BEV lineup.” The SUV’s design includes wide black overfenders for a robust stance and unique 18-inch aluminum wheels with removable covers.

The bZ Woodland will be available in one grade with an optional Premium Package that includes JBL Premium Audio, ventilated front seats with memory driver’s seat, and other features. It will also offer various exterior paint options such as Stepping Stone and Trueno Blue.

Charging capabilities include a North American Charging System (NACS) port compatible with Level Three DC fast-charging. Under optimal conditions, it can charge from 10% to 80% battery capacity in approximately 30 minutes. Additionally, it supports Level One and Two AC charging.

Safety features include Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which provides active safety technologies like Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist. Other technologies include Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

The interior boasts SofTex-trimmed seating and a standard 14-inch touchscreen equipped with Toyota Audio Multimedia system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The vehicle offers connectivity options including Wi-Fi Connect trial for up to five devices.

Toyota continues its commitment to electrification by manufacturing automotive batteries at its North Carolina plant starting in spring 2025. This move aligns with their initiative towards sustainable mobility solutions across their extensive range of electrified vehicles.
