Toyota has announced the upcoming addition to the Camry lineup—the 2026 Nightshade Edition. This model introduces Midnight Black Metallic design elements, unique 19-inch wheels, and gloss black badging, available in Ice Cap, Supersonic Red, and Midnight Black Metallic.
Complete with Midnight Black Metallic accents on the grille, air curtains, side canards, door handles, mirror caps, shark fin antenna, rear sport diffuser, and spoiler, the Nightshade Edition amplifies the Camry’s distinct appearance. This edition joins the existing LE, SE, XLE, and XSE versions. All Camry models will feature either Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) or All-Wheel Drive (AWD), with hybrid models estimated to achieve up to 51 MPG.
A new exterior color, Dark Cosmos, debuts exclusively on the SE, XLE, and XSE grades. The lineup is expected to hit dealerships in Fall 2025, with pricing details forthcoming.
Toyota highlights the integration of the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS) with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine, and standard MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension. Electrically controlled Continuous Variable Transmission (eCVT) aims to enhance both the driving experience and fuel efficiency.
For safety, the 2026 Camry includes a Blind Spot Monitor and Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) 3.0, which features a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, among others.
Interior options for the new Camry emphasize comfort and customization, with different upholstery choices and available technology upgrades like a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 9-speaker JBL Premium Audio system.
The 2026 Camry is covered by a standard Toyota warranty, along with ToyotaCare, providing factory-scheduled maintenance and roadside assistance for a limited period.
“About Toyota,” it states, “Toyota has been a part of the cultural fabric in the U.S. for nearly 70 years,” emphasizing the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable mobility and community education initiatives.
