Toyota is gearing up for the Formula Drift Long Beach weekend by unveiling a new GR Corolla development vehicle. The vehicle, currently in development, was teased with camouflaged photos showing features such as new fender vents, hood vents, and a rear spoiler, suggesting potential enhancements in aerodynamic performance, increased torque, and unique tuning.

The GAZOO Racing team is working on fine-tuning this vehicle, which is yet to undergo Akio Toyoda’s final test drive. Further details about the vehicle are expected to be released in Fall 2025.

Toyota, listed on the New York Stock Exchange, has been part of the U.S. cultural landscape for nearly seven decades. The company is advancing sustainable, next-generation mobility through its Toyota and Lexus brands, supported by nearly 1,500 dealerships.

In the U.S., Toyota employs approximately 48,000 individuals involved in the design, engineering, and assembly of over 35 million cars and trucks produced at its 11 manufacturing plants. Toyota’s North Carolina plant is set to begin manufacturing automotive batteries for electrified vehicles in spring 2025. Currently, Toyota offers 31 electrified vehicle options, the most of any automaker.
