Toyota Motor North America and Toyota Financial Services have announced initiatives to support communities affected by recent flooding in California. The company stated that it makes annual contributions to The American Red Cross and SBP, which are used for disaster recovery efforts across the United States. In response to the current situation, Toyota is matching donations from its U.S.-based employees to The American Red Cross, SBP, and other qualified nonprofits.

Toyota Financial Services has introduced payment relief options for customers impacted by the flooding. These measures apply to both Toyota Financial Services (TFS) and Lexus Financial Services (LFS) customers located in areas designated as disaster zones. Eligible lease and finance customers may access several forms of assistance, including extensions and deferred lease payments, redirected billing statements, and options for phone or online payments.

Customers seeking more information or wishing to discuss their accounts can contact TFS through the Support Center at ToyotaFinancial.com or by calling 800-874-8822. LFS customers can use the Support Center at LexusFinancial.com or call 800-874-7050.

The company expressed its concern for those affected: “We extend our heartfelt thoughts to those affected by the flooding.”

Toyota has operated in North America for over 70 years, employing nearly 48,000 people in the region. Its operations include more than 1,500 dealerships and 14 manufacturing plants. In 2025, Toyota began assembling automotive batteries for electrified vehicles at its North Carolina facility. The company’s Driving Possibilities initiative aims to develop educational programs in underserved communities near its U.S. operating sites.
