Amazon announces technical support role in North Carolina for veterans and military spouses

Amazon has announced an open position for a technical customer service associate in North Carolina, as part of its customer service (CS) technical support team. The company is encouraging veterans and military spouses to apply. This announcement was updated on Amazon Jobs on April 16, 2025.

According to Amazon Jobs, the technical support associate will be part of Blink’s customer service technical support team and will assist customers with Blink’s home security products through phone and email support. Key responsibilities include resolving customer issues, collaborating with other support teams, advocating for customer needs, troubleshooting technical problems, and improving support-related processes. The role requires deep technical knowledge of home networking, mobile devices, and firewall configurations while also providing support during critical product launches and service events.

Candidates are expected to have at least three years of customer service experience and two years in a technical support role focused on customer success. Required qualifications include experience with WiFi/mesh networking platforms, firewall configurations, and mobile device support, along with strong communication skills in English and at least one other language. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Zendesk CRM, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to improving customer experience.
