Apple is set to enhance its News+ service with the introduction of Apple News+ Food, available to subscribers starting in April with the release of iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4. This new section will offer a vast array of content related to food, including tens of thousands of recipes and articles on various topics such as restaurants, healthy eating, and kitchen essentials.

The content for Apple News+ Food will be sourced from prominent food publishers like Allrecipes, Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Good Food, and Serious Eats. Users will have access to stories curated by Apple News editors and can browse, search, and filter through an extensive Recipe Catalog that is updated daily with new recipes.

A notable feature of the new service is its user-friendly recipe format designed for easy review of ingredients and directions. Additionally, a new cook mode provides step-by-step instructions in full screen for better usability during cooking sessions. Users will also have the option to save their favorite recipes for offline access.

Apple News+ Food will be accessible to all Apple News+ subscribers with some content available even to non-subscribers.
