Town of Cary issued the following announcement on Dec. 2.
Contractors working on the One Walker Project have extended the currently-in-place closure of S. Walker Street between E. Park and Walnut Streets into May of 2022.
This extended full street closure is necessary to accommodate curb and street improvements in the area and expedite the completion of the project as a whole.
Drivers in the area can expect the existing conditions to continue through this extended construction period, and citizens are asked to exercise caution when driving or walking in the area.
