Town of Fuquay-Varina issued the following announcement on Sep 19.
The purpose of this detour is to allow for the installation of a new 12" Waterline that crosses Highway 401. During the detour, only local traffic should access the downtown Fuquay areas. All regional traffic should use the SE and SW Judd Parkways to navigate around the downtown area.

Plan for heavy traffic in the downtown area. Please plan accordingly. Local traffic only in the downtown area. All other traffic should plan to use Judd Parkway to navigate around the downtown area.
