Town of Garner issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.
The Garner Police Department is excited to announce its Holiday Sale on Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) merchandise to benefit Special Olympics NC. For the remainder of the year, they will be selling their 2020 LETR T-shirt for only $5. In addition, everything else on the online LETR store will be 15 percent off. The online store can be found at nctorchrun.com.
All proceeds will go to benefit Special Olympics North Carolina. Be sure to list the Garner Police Department as the agency that referred you!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the department's Special Olympics fundraising efforts had to be cancelled this year. This is a wonderful opportunity to safely give and support the nearly 40,000 Special Olympics athletes in North Carolina.
