TOWN OF HOLLY SPRINGS: Youth Spring Sports Update

Healthcare

Town of Holly Springs issued the following announcement on Apr. 8.

Youth Spring Sports Update

The health and safety of our residents is our greatest priority. In response to COVID-19, all Town of Holly Springs indoor recreation facilities, programs and rentals are closed or postponed until at least April 29. After thorough consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all youth athletic leagues for the remainder of the spring season. Registered participants will receive a full credit which may be applied towards registration for any future Parks and Recreation activity. We continue to offer a liberal refund policy for all programs. If you prefer to receive a refund instead of a credit, please contact Athletic Program Supervisor Chris Champion.

When facilities reopen and programs restart, we look forward to offering several sports camps and clinics for skill-development and instruction. Visit us online to learn more about these opportunities. Athletic leagues are scheduled to resume for the fall sports seasons in late July/early August. In the interim, parks and recreation staff are working to provide innovative opportunities for virtual participation and engagement. Stay connected with us on Facebook or visit us on our website for updates.

The Town of Holly Springs is committed to providing the best athletic programs for our community, yet the health and safety of our participants will always come first. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we manage this extraordinary situation together.
