DESCRIPTION:
Youth learn about geographic information systems (GIS) and mappingsoftware. Community service projects are a frequent activity with youth usingtheir technology skills on community impact projects such as mapping fooddeserts, gathering data for the Youth Thrive mobile app, and more. Must beupper middle or high school age to participate. Club members have theopportunity to compete for spots on the National 4-H GIS Team. Contact Thomas.ray@wakegov.com
