The State Water Infrastructure Authority is set to hold a teleconference meeting on Friday, May 16, from 1:00 to 1:40 p.m. The public has the option to listen in either online or by phone.

The meeting will be accessible via Webex using the provided link and event password “NCDWI.” Alternatively, participants can dial in at 415-655-0003 with access code 247 945 7213.

An agenda for the meeting has been outlined. For those wishing to comment during the public comment segment, registration is required by 8 a.m. on May 16.

As per GS 143-318.13, an in-person listening station will be available at Room 826V on the eighth floor of the Archdale Building located at 512 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh, for individuals unable to attend virtually.

The authority functions as an independent entity responsible for distributing federal and state funds for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Its duties also involve developing a master plan for state water infrastructure, advising on optimizing loan and grant funding resources, and exploring best practices.
