We are pleased to announce that Raleigh has been chosen as a regional hub for additional USDA offices. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler expressed his enthusiasm about the decision, stating, “We are certainly tickled to be selected as a regional hub.” He highlighted the long-standing partnership with the USDA, noting that National Agricultural Statistics Service offices have been housed in their building for many years.

Commissioner Troxler emphasized the importance of this development for North Carolina’s agriculture industry. “Agriculture production and needs are different across the country, and I think it will be beneficial to our $111 billion agriculture industry to have more USDA staff and contacts in our state,” he said.

The collaboration aims to strengthen ties between local agricultural entities and federal resources, potentially boosting the state’s agricultural output and efficiency.
