Public hearing scheduled for proposed NCAC rules change on June 17

The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Standards Division is set to hold a public hearing on June 17. The purpose of the meeting is to address concerns related to proposed changes in Chapter 42 of the North Carolina Administrative Code.

The amendment under consideration involves the removal of 02 NCAC 42.0201(b)4, aiming to align state gasoline volatility specifications with the American Society for Testing and Materials’ test method D4814-24a.

The hearing will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Steve Troxler Agricultural Sciences Center, Room A201B, located at 4400 Reedy Creek Road in Raleigh.
