Owkin, a company specializing in AI solutions for the biopharma sector, has announced that its K Pro platform is now available in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) category of AWS Marketplace. This move allows customers to use their AWS accounts to discover, purchase, and deploy Owkin’s agentic AI co-pilot for biopharma, aiming to speed up the development of AI agents and related workflows.

K Pro is designed to help organizations make informed decisions throughout their discovery and development processes by providing data-driven biological insights. The platform aims to improve clinical success rates and alter program directions based on these insights.

Adi Ravia, Head of Product at Owkin, stated: “By offering K Pro in AWS Marketplace we’re providing customers with a streamlined way to access to our agentic AI co-pilot, helping them buy and deploy agent solutions faster and more efficiently.” Ravia added: “Our customers in biotech, pharmaceuticals and research are already using these capabilities to access and analyse deep multimodal patient data, understand and review the scientific literature and uncover treatment-relevant biomarkers, demonstrating the real-world value of K Pro.”

The platform offers features such as natural language interaction, biological reasoning capabilities, and proprietary access to multimodal data. These tools are intended to bring together different research workflows into a single insight-driven experience.

With SaaS products now available through AWS Marketplace, organizations can simplify procurement processes by centralizing purchasing through their AWS accounts. This approach helps reduce time spent on vendor evaluations and negotiations while giving customers greater control over licensing, payments, and user access via AWS.

Owkin’s broader mission involves building what it calls Biology Super Intelligence (BASI), combining large language models focused on biology with multimodal patient data and agentic software. Its core system includes Owkin K—an AI copilot—and a new large language model called Owkin Zero. These tools are used by researchers, clinicians, and drug developers for understanding biology better, validating scientific hypotheses, and improving diagnostics and therapies.

For more information about K Pro’s availability in AWS Marketplace or details about its features can be found directly on the AWS Marketplace website.
