North Carolina has been ranked as the second-best state for business climate in Site Selection Magazine’s annual study, finishing just behind Texas by a single point.

The ranking highlights North Carolina’s strong appeal to businesses, with the state continuing to attract new companies. According to Site Selection Magazine, North Carolina offers significant competitive advantages that make it a top choice for business operations.

“North Carolina doesn’t just compete, we lead,” the announcement stated.

This recognition follows recent trends of companies moving into the state or expanding their presence due to favorable conditions such as workforce quality and infrastructure. These factors contribute to North Carolina’s reputation as a leading destination for business investment.
