The North Carolina Oil and Gas Commission will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 9 a.m. in Raleigh. The meeting is open to the public, who may attend in person at the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building at 512 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC, or join online via WebEx or by phone.

The Oil and Gas Commission is tasked with adopting rules related to oil and gas exploration in North Carolina. Its responsibilities also include regulating well spacing for oil and gas exploration, establishing areas where drilling can take place, and setting limits on production from oil and gas activities.
