North Carolina hosts second annual violence prevention conference in Raleigh

The North Carolina Violence Prevention Conference is set to take place on October 27-28 in Raleigh. The event will bring together participants from across the state to discuss approaches for improving community safety. This year’s conference theme is “Investing in Prevention, Transforming Community Safety.”

Siarra Scott, Director of the Office of Violence Prevention, will be available for media interviews on Monday, October 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The conference will be held at the Hilton Raleigh North Hills, located at 3415 Wake Forest Rd in Raleigh.

Media representatives attending the event are required to check in at the registration desk upon arrival and obtain a media lanyard.
