North Carolina Environmental Management Commission schedules November meetings in Raleigh

The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission is scheduled to meet on November 12 and 13 in Raleigh. The meetings will take place in the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building at 512 N. Salisbury Street. The public has the option to attend in person or participate online by computer or phone.

Committee meetings are set for Wednesday, November 12, beginning at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. The full commission meeting will follow on Thursday, November 13, also starting at 9 a.m. Agendas and supporting documents for these meetings are available on the Commission’s website.

The Environmental Management Commission plays a key role in setting rules aimed at protecting and improving North Carolina’s air and water resources. It oversees rulemaking for several divisions within the Department of Environmental Quality, including Air Quality, Land Resources, Waste Management, and Water Resources.
