N.C. Environmental Management Commission schedules September meeting with public access options

The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission is scheduled to meet on September 10 and 11 at the Archdale Building in Raleigh. The public can attend these sessions either in person or virtually by computer or phone.

Committee meetings are set for September 10, beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern Time. The full commission will convene on September 11 at 9 a.m. Both meetings will take place in the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building, located at 512 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC, 27604.

According to the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, “The Environmental Management Commission is responsible for adopting rules for the protection, preservation and enhancement of the state’s air and water resources. The Commission oversees and adopts rules for several divisions of the Department of Environmental Quality, including the Divisions of Air Quality, Land Resources, Waste Management and Water Resources.”
