At MWC 2026 in Barcelona, Lenovo presented a range of new adaptive AI devices and concept products aimed at various user groups including business professionals, creators, students, and gamers. The announcements included a modular PC architecture, a glasses-free 3D laptop concept, a foldable gaming handheld device, and the first rollout of Lenovo Qira.
Lenovo emphasized its ongoing focus on developing technology that is personalized and secure while building an AI ecosystem that operates across multiple devices. Luca Rossi, President of Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group, stated: “The AI era will not be defined by a single device or application, but by intelligent systems that work seamlessly across everything we use. We are demonstrating how Lenovo and Motorola are bringing that vision to life, combining adaptive hardware innovation with a single, unified system-level AI integration that works naturally across PCs, smartphones, tablets, wearables, and beyond. From premium mobile devices and transformative form factors, to the rollout of Lenovo Qira, we are building the widest AI portfolio that delivers more connected, more intuitive personal computing experiences designed around people.”
Lenovo Qira is described as Personal Ambient Intelligence built into Lenovo and Motorola devices at the system level rather than as a separate application. It aims to help users maintain continuity between tasks and devices based on user intent. In the coming weeks, Lenovo Qira will become available on over 20 devices in the company’s PC lineup through updates or preloads. Supported product lines include Yoga, IdeaPad, Legion, and ThinkPad families. The initial rollout supports six languages across nine regions: English (U.S., U.K., India), Spanish (U.S./Latin America, Spain), French (France), Italian (Italy), German (Germany), and Portuguese (Brazil). The company plans to expand language support and device compatibility throughout 2026 with upcoming availability on Motorola smartphones.
Among the showcased concepts was the ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept. This device uses a modular approach for business computing under the theme “carry small, use big.” It features an ultra-thin 14-inch base system with interchangeable displays and detachable components. A secondary display can attach in different orientations or replace the keyboard to expand workspace up to about 19 inches while maintaining portability.
Lenovo also revealed its Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept—a laptop offering glasses-free 3D viewing for creators—by combining dual displays with AI-powered conversion from 2D to 3D content along with gesture interaction.
For gaming enthusiasts, Lenovo introduced the Legion Go Fold Concept—a foldable handheld gaming device capable of transitioning from compact mode to larger screen formats supporting multiple usage scenarios such as split-screen multitasking or desktop-style interaction.
On the commercial side, updates were announced for several product lines:
– The ThinkPad T-Series now includes improvements in serviceability and usability along with enhanced readiness for AI workflows.
– Select models have achieved high iFixit repairability scores.
– The ThinkPad X13 Detachable offers integrated pen support in a lightweight design suitable for hybrid work environments.

– For small businesses seeking flexibility and collaboration features powered by AI capabilities there is now the ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 6; meanwhile portable screen expansion comes via the ThinkVision M16 monitor.
Security features alongside manageability tools are integrated throughout these commercial offerings to help organizations deploy AI-enabled devices securely.
For consumers—including creators and students—Lenovo introduced several new laptops such as Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition (14”, 11), Yoga Pro 7a (15”, 11), IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra (14”, 11), all featuring intelligent functions aimed at improving productivity. In tablets—the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 stands out as both versatile for learning/productivity needs while being Lenovo’s first tablet equipped with Qira intelligence software.
Gaming products saw additions like Legion 7a (15”,11) laptop plus Legion Tab (8.8”,5) gaming tablet boasting high-resolution displays paired with advanced cooling technologies.
With these launches at MWC 2026 Lenovo seeks to further integrate trusted AI-powered computing solutions into both enterprise platforms and consumer markets through continued innovation in mobility creativity productivity security management lifecycle services connectivity form factors personalization adaptability unified ecosystems spanning multiple types of hardware.
