Lenovo is playing a key role in the Esports World Cup 2025 in Saudi Arabia as the official PC and gaming hardware partner. The company is showcasing its latest Legion gaming innovations at a premier booth located at Riyadh’s Content Creator Park, adjacent to the tournament’s main stage. This presence highlights Lenovo’s commitment to promoting elite performance and an inclusive gaming culture.

Visitors to the Lenovo booth have the opportunity to experience the latest Legion devices, including the powerful Legion 9i and immersive fan experience zones featuring Legion notebooks. The full ecosystem of Lenovo’s gaming solutions, from notebooks and desktops to visuals and accessories, is on display, offering gamers a chance to test these devices in various tournaments with prizes for top performers.

Saudi Arabia’s investment in esports aligns with Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and expand digital entertainment. Through initiatives like the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF), Saudi Arabia plans to create over 39,000 gaming-related jobs and contribute more than $13 billion to national GDP by 2030.

Lenovo has partnered with Alat, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, on a strategic investment that includes building a manufacturing hub in Saudi Arabia. This facility will produce millions of “Saudi Made” laptops and desktops annually. By localizing manufacturing, Lenovo aims to accelerate the development of gaming and technology ecosystems in Saudi Arabia while creating high-skilled jobs.

Giovanni Di Filippo, Vice President & General Manager for Saudi Arabia, stated: “With nearly 89% of the Kingdom’s population under the age of 35, Saudi youth are crucial to shaping the future of this sector.” He added that Lenovo is committed to fostering an inclusive gaming ecosystem by expanding access to technology and creating opportunities for youth from all backgrounds.

A highlight of Lenovo’s booth programming is #HerLegion Clan: Inclusion Night. This event celebrates female gamers and promotes inclusivity within the gaming environment. In collaboration with Valar Club, this initiative supports women in gaming through community-driven activities.

Saudi Arabia is increasing female participation in gaming as part of Vision 2030’s focus on empowering women. Women now account for 48% of gamers in Saudi Arabia. National strategies include funding for women-led game development and university programs focused on digital skills.

Di Filippo remarked: “Initiatives such as #HerLegion Clan further build on this momentum by providing safe spaces for female gamers.” He emphasized that these programs increase visibility and lay groundwork for long-term industry leadership as Saudi Arabia positions itself as a global gaming hub.

Lenovo supports Esports World Cup 2025’s efforts to scale up global esports infrastructure through its Legion portfolio, delivering high-performance experiences for professionals and enthusiasts alike.
