Lenovo has been named to Fast Company’s seventh annual list of the 100 Best Workplaces for AI Innovators for the second consecutive year. The list, released on October 1, 2025, recognizes organizations that encourage innovation throughout their operations.

Fast Company highlighted Lenovo as one of ten companies enabling employees to achieve significant advancements in artificial intelligence. The publication noted Lenovo’s ongoing investment in research and development, including its maintenance of 18 R&D facilities and four AI innovation centers globally.

The Best Workplaces for Innovators list evaluates companies from various sectors such as entertainment, biotechnology, consumer goods, marketing, education, and healthcare. Companies were assessed based on their commitment to innovation, internal programs supporting new ideas, and organizational culture. Fast Company editors reviewed applications and conducted research before a panel of judges selected the final winners.

“At Lenovo, innovation isn’t confined to labs. It’s woven into our culture. We empower our teams to push boundaries, experiment boldly, and create technology with customers at the center of every breakthrough. Guided by our vision of Smarter AI for All and powered by Lenovo’s Hybrid AI Advantage, we are democratizing AI to make it accessible, trusted, and seamlessly integrated into everyday life and work, helping customers achieve greater productivity, agility, and confidence. Being recognized again by Fast Company is a testament to both our people and our purpose: driving smarter technology that empowers everyone, everywhere.”

In 2025, Lenovo introduced the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6—the first rollable laptop enhanced with artificial intelligence—demonstrating its focus on developing new products through cross-functional teamwork. The company increased its R&D spending by 13% compared to the previous year. Currently, a quarter of Lenovo’s employees work in roles related to research or innovation.

Lenovo also emphasizes an inclusive workplace culture and supports philanthropic initiatives aimed at making technology more accessible globally.
