Lauren Paulet Miller has received a new 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro after winning the 4Runner-Landia contest. The event marks the beginning of her plan to create an outdoor retreat aimed at providing access to nature for people who may not otherwise have such opportunities.

Miller expressed her enthusiasm about using the vehicle as more than just transportation. “I’ve always loved the outdoors and want to share that with others who might not have the means or access to explore it,” she said. “This 4Runner gives me the freedom to get out there, find the right place, and start making that dream a reality.”

Her plans include scouting locations and building a retreat focused on accessibility, inclusion, and connecting people with nature.

Cynthia Barreras, marketing planner at Toyota, commented on Miller’s win: “We couldn’t be happier to see Lauren in her new 4Runner. It’s exciting to see someone embody the spirit behind this vehicle, a spirit of exploration. And we can’t wait to see her accomplish her goal and create that outdoors playground for more adventure seekers.”

The handover took place at Younger Toyota in Hagerstown, Maryland. Dave Carroll, general manager of Younger Toyota, said: “We’re thrilled to see this vehicle go to someone with such an inspiring vision. It’s our goal to see happy customers drive away with their dream Toyota vehicle.”

Miller is planning a weekend trip as her first step toward realizing her project.

Toyota has been present in North America for nearly seven decades and operates over 1,800 dealerships across the region. The company employs around 64,000 people in North America and has produced close to 49 million vehicles through its network of manufacturing plants. In 2025, Toyota began assembling automotive batteries for electrified vehicles at its plant in North Carolina.
