Honeywell announced that Indra Nooyi, former Chair and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, will join its Board of Directors as an Independent Director effective January 1, 2026. Nooyi, who is 70 years old, led PepsiCo as CEO from 2006 to 2018 and served as Chair of the board from 2007 to 2019. She was also President and Chief Financial Officer before becoming CEO.
During her time at PepsiCo, Nooyi led the company’s “Performance with Purpose” initiative. This strategy focused on sustained growth by offering more nutritious products, reducing environmental impact, and supporting employees and communities.

Nooyi joined PepsiCo in 1994 after holding management roles at ABB, Motorola, and The Boston Consulting Group. She currently serves on Amazon’s board of directors as chair of the audit committee and is a member of Philips’ supervisory board where she sits on the nominating and corporate governance committee.
Her academic background includes a bachelor’s degree from Madras Christian College, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta, and a Master’s in Public and Private Management from Yale School of Management.
