Globe Telecom has announced a new multi-year strategic agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance its telecommunications and digital services in the Philippines. The collaboration aims to modernize Globe’s cloud infrastructure, improve customer experiences, and introduce AI-driven solutions across its business operations.

Under the partnership, AWS will work with Globe on several initiatives. These include expanding Globe’s cloud infrastructure for better disaster recovery and network resiliency, updating B2B systems and digital platforms such as GOMO, and developing advanced consent management systems for more personalized customer service. The companies also plan to innovate network management systems, introduce new SIM activation and porting capabilities, and enable real-time campaign management through data streaming technologies.

Globe intends to leverage AWS investments in artificial intelligence to enhance customer lifecycle management and deploy a voicebot built on AWS’s AI platform. These efforts are expected to strengthen data security, streamline customer journeys, and promote digital inclusion throughout the country.

Carl Cruz, President and CEO at Globe, said: “Customers today expect seamless digital experiences, and our strengthened partnership with AWS ensures Globe continues to deliver world-class connectivity and services that meet the evolving needs of Filipinos. By leveraging AWS’s advanced cloud capabilities and exploring AI-driven innovations across our operations, we’re positioning Globe to drive faster innovation, enhance operational efficiency through intelligent automation, and create more personalized experiences for our customers. This is about empowering Filipinos with the tools and AI-powered solutions they need to thrive in a fast-changing digital world.”

Precious Lim, Country Manager of AWS Philippines added: “Telecommunications companies are at the forefront of digital innovation, and Globe’s bold vision for cloud-enabled customer experiences demonstrates the transformative potential of this technology. We’re excited to support Globe’s ambitious digital transformation journey and help them deliver innovative services to millions of customers across the Philippines.”

As part of this agreement, Globe will use a range of AWS offerings—including compute power, storage options, and other advanced technologies—to support its modernization goals while improving operational efficiency.

Globe Telecom is listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange under GLO. The company provides mobile, broadband, data services as well as fintech solutions in partnership with Ayala Corporation and Singtel. It was recognized by TIME as one of 2025’s Most Sustainable Companies globally.
