Round up friends and family to enjoy a festive event at the State Farmers Market in Raleigh. The Fourth of July Food Truck Rodeo will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 4, featuring some of the Triangle’s top food trucks.

Attendees can look forward to music, face painting, inflatables, and line-dancing at the market. Bringing blankets and lawn chairs is encouraged for a picnic-style experience.

“We are excited to offer this family-friendly event for the July 4 holiday,” said Monica Wood, manager of the State Farmers Market. “It is a great way to support local businesses while celebrating Independence Day.”

The event is hosted by Larger than Lemons in partnership with the State Farmers Market. Admission and parking are free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from food truck vendors. Some regular farmers market vendors will also be open, offering fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, flowers, specialty foods, crafts, and more. The N.C. Seafood Restaurant will maintain its usual business hours from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The State Farmers Market operates year-round with locally grown produce including fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses and specialty foods along with seasonal products from North Carolina nurseries and farms. It is located off Exit 297 on Interstate 40 in Raleigh at 1201 Agriculture Street.
