Di Fara Pizza Tavern, widely known for its authentic New York-style pizza, is set to open at the Horseshoe at Hub RTP. This expansion marks the second location in the Triangle area for the well-regarded Brooklyn pizzeria.

The new restaurant will occupy a 3,999-square-foot space on the first floor, overlooking the Horseshoe courtyard. Erik Johnson, co-founder of White Point, expressed enthusiasm about the addition, saying, “White Point and the Research Triangle Foundation of NC are thrilled to have another established culinary brand joining the Horseshoe community. Di Fara Pizza Tavern will be a welcome addition.”

The restaurant’s design includes seating for 145 guests, a private dining area, and a walk-up bar. The menu will offer cold beverages and Italian treats like gelato and spumoni. Gregory Norton, owner of the Triangle locations, stated, “We are excited for this expansion in the Triangle. Horseshoe at Hub RTP is a prime location for some of our loyal guests, and we look forward to meeting many new guests, including the new residents and workers in the vibrant Hub RTP community.”

Founded by Dominic DeMarco in 1965, the original Di Fara Pizza in Brooklyn is renowned for its high-quality ingredients and has received accolades from various publications and culinary figures. Carolyn Coia, vice president of real estate at the Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina, commented on this addition: “Horseshoe at Hub RTP is quickly becoming a dynamic destination where top-tier dining, entertainment, and innovation come together. Di Fara Pizza Tavern is a classic addition to our growing community.”

The establishment aims to open in late 2025, with Gregory and Valerie Norton overseeing the build-out with the help of Jason Imhof of Aspire Construction. Other businesses like Prime STQ and Drift Coffee & Kitchen are also slated to open around the same time. Wayne Holt of Reward Real Estate and Tiffany Barrier and Charlie Coyne of CBRE have facilitated the leasing agreements.

For more updates and leasing information, interested parties can visit the Horseshoe or Hub RTP websites or reach out to representatives at CBRE.
