Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held online from June 9 to 13, 2025. The event will also feature an in-person gathering at Apple Park on June 9. The conference is free for all developers and aims to showcase the latest developments in Apple software.
Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event: “We’re excited to mark another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community. We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and help them continue to innovate.”
Participants can access the conference via the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel. It will include video sessions and opportunities for interaction with Apple engineers and designers through online labs.
On June 9, a special in-person experience at Apple Park will allow developers to watch the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union presentations. Attendees will also have opportunities for one-on-one meetings with Apple experts and participation in group labs. Due to limited space, details on attendance applications are available on the WWDC25 website.
The Swift Student Challenge is part of Apple’s efforts to support young developers. Applicants will be notified of their status on March 27, with winners eligible for participation in the special event at Apple Park. Fifty Distinguished Winners will be invited to Cupertino for a three-day experience.
