Apple has announced the schedule for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which will take place from June 9 to June 13. The conference will be held online and is free for participants, offering developers worldwide a chance to learn about the latest tools, technologies, and features from Apple.
“Throughout the week, developers around the world can connect with Apple engineers, designers, and evangelists,” said an Apple spokesperson. More than 100 sessions are planned to help developers explore new enhancements for creating apps and games across Apple’s platforms.
On June 9 at 10 a.m. PDT, WWDC25 will begin with a keynote presentation showcasing updates coming to Apple platforms. This event can be streamed on apple.com, the Apple TV app, and Apple’s YouTube channel. Following this at 1 p.m. PDT is the Platforms State of the Union session that will delve deeper into new tools available for developers working with iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS.
The conference also offers over 100 technical sessions that allow developers to explore Apple’s latest technologies and frameworks in depth. These sessions will be accessible through the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel.
Members of both the Apple Developer Program and Apple Developer Enterprise Program have opportunities to engage directly with Apple’s experts via online group labs or one-on-one appointments. Topics include design guidance, developer tools support, graphics development insights, machine learning tips, Swift programming assistance among others.
Apple continues its commitment to supporting up-and-coming talent through initiatives like the Swift Student Challenge. For a second year running, 50 Distinguished Winners have been acknowledged for their outstanding submissions and are invited to attend a special three-day experience at Apple Park.
